Stan the arbiter of justice? I mean ideological justice, not the result of who kills whom faster. I can't tell. It may not be applicable, although I cling to the mythology of "honor among thieves."

Poor Jake -- brought down more by his lack of honor than his greed. If he had only behaved a bit more gentlemanly with Hyacinth things maybe would have worked out better for him. Maybe.
